2nd Women in Audit Seminar

IIA Kenya is holding a Women in Audit Seminar which will take place on 14th April 2023. The seminar brings together women from all levels in their audit career to learn from each other and stir up conversations on how to transform the internal audit profession. This will offer great networking opportunities particularly for women and get strategies on how to thrive in audit amidst the difficulties that may be experienced in their fields.

Theme

The theme of the seminar will be Becoming a leader; Women at the table.

This Seminar will provide a forum for women to encourage and inspire each other as they discuss the challenges facing women in audit and give pointers relevant to different levels in the profession on how to overcome them.

Objectives

The aim of the Women in Audit seminar will be to:

1. Motivate women who are up and coming in audit and provide guidance
2. Bring forth issues facing career women, work up ideas on how to navigate the audit space, and learn from women who have made great accomplishments in the industry.
3. Provide a platform for more experienced leaders to share their stories and give advice to fellow women based on their experience in auditing.
4. Hold discussions on how women can transform the audit profession
