Agility makes Internal audits and Internal Auditors able to add value fast in response to disruptions and evolving risks faced by the organization. To enhance and protect organizational value, Internal Auditors make use of agile methodologies and an agile mindset to support innovations in the internal audit process.

This workshop takes the mystery out of agility and prepares internal audit activity on how to become agile.

The workshop will cover:

• Overview of the values and principles of Agility.
• Managing complexity in the internal audit engagement process.
• Agile auditing process.
• Change management considerations and other success factors for implementing Agile auditing.
• Measures that drive Agile ways of working.
• Compatibility of Agility with the Global Internal Auditing Standards (GIS).
• Misconceptions about Agile auditing and alignment with GIS.
• Opportunities to practice Agile auditing.
• Practical ways to be lean and agile.
• Key Lean techniques for insight.
• Reappraise reporting and action-planning in Agile Auditing.
• Value of various Agile auditing iterations, including Agile Lean, Agile Lite, and Full Agile.

The workshop will be held from March 18-22, 2024, at Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort & Spa Mombasa. Charges are KES 65,000 and KES 70,000 exclusive of VAT for members and non-members respectively. Members in attendance will earn 20 CPE Hours.
