Event: Projects Management Assurance: Value for Money-Planning, Monitoring Workshop

Proper management of projects is critical towards assurance that implementation costs are contained, resources are properly allocated and utilized, and the finished product is beneficial to the process owner. Projects have to be managed using a proven and repeatable methodology. Internal auditors need to understand the basics of project management to fully comprehend project management objectives and the associated risks and develop skills to assess the design or effectiveness of controls related to those risks.
This workshop examines project management concepts and emphasizes the significant role that project management plays in ensuring successful deployment of technology and processes into the enterprise. The workshop will guide internal auditors in building proficiencies for project management-related assurance services by describing the general competencies needed by today's internal auditors.

- Project Assurance Reporting.
- Providing Project Assurance Services.
The workshop will be held from September 9-13, 2024, at the Sarova Woodlands Resort, Nakuru. Charges are KES 55,000 and KES 60,000 exclusive of VAT for members and non-members respectively. Members in attendance will earn 20 CPE Hours.
