Supply Chain Risk, Procurement, and Contract Management Audit Workshop

Organizations are facing scrutiny to deliver value in the handling of contracts, procurement, and outsourcing services. There are uncertainties and threats over delivery, cost, and quality for organizations that decide to procure goods and services or outsource activities including infrastructure. These organizations are also required to comply with stringent legal and regulatory frameworks including the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act.

This workshop is designed for professionals and players in the Supply Chain Management system including Internal Auditors, Finance and Accounting Officers, Procurement Units, User Departments, Tender Opening Committees, Technical Evaluation Committees, Inspection and Acceptance Committees, Contract Implementation Teams, and Disposal Committees.

The workshop will cover:

• Compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks on procurement, contract management, and outsourcing.
• Procurement and asset disposal planning.
• Transparency and accountability in the procurement processes.
• Fairness and equity in the procurement process.
• Promotion of value in procurement.
• What to look out for in creating the right contract.
• Contract lifecycle management.
• Auditing newly struck outsourcing or supply contracts.
• Auditing mid-maturity outsourcing or supply contracts.
• Auditing end-of-life outsourcing or supply contracts.
• The approach to Auditing procurement processes.

The workshop will be held on August 28-September 1, 2023 at the Grand Royal Swiss Hotel, Kisumu. Charges are KES 49,000 and KES 54,000 exclusive of VAT for members and non-members respectively. Members in attendance will be awarded 20 CPE Hours.
